This is also the referral program agreement, renewed every year.
- Eligibility. Hotels, resorts, venues (banquet halls, lawns, party plots, wedding farms, palace and heritage venues) and decorators, approved after verification. Photographers, caterers and other wedding vendors become partners after 5 closed sales. WedVista may approve or decline any application.
- Valid referral. A planner or individual client who isn't already a WedVista customer, wasn't contacted by WedVista in the last 90 days, agreed to be contacted, and was emailed to sales@wedvista.com by the partner with their reference code. Referrals sent on WhatsApp don't count.
- Consent. Share a person's contact only with their consent, as required by India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. WedVista contacts them once, says who referred them, and stops if they're not interested.
- Credit. The first valid referral of a contact gets the credit, for 30 days from submission.
- Limits. A partner must refer at least 10 clients a year to stay eligible for the next year, can refer at most 200 a year, and must refer 2 clients within the first month of joining. For other wedding vendors, these limits start from the date they become partners.
- Reward. ₹6,000 / $100 per Planner Plan (first year only) and ₹3,000 / $50 per Individual Plan. No reward for renewals, extra weddings, WhatsApp credits, add-ons, or referrals who don't buy.
- Payout. 7 days after the client's payment, by bank transfer or UPI, with a statement.
- Refunds. If the client is refunded, the reward is cancelled or recovered from future payouts.
- Tax. WedVista deducts TDS before paying, at the rate set by Indian income-tax rules. A PAN is required.
- Not allowed. Sharing contacts without consent; fake, duplicate or self-referrals; promising discounts, features or prices; presenting yourself as WedVista or a reseller; bidding on "WedVista" in search ads; spam messages.
- Agreement and ending. The partner signs this agreement, renewed every year. Either side can end it at any time by email. Rewards for completed sales are still paid, except when it ends because of point 10.
- Changes. WedVista may change rewards or terms with 30 days' notice. Referrals already submitted keep the old terms.
- Relationship. Partners aren't employees, agents or resellers of WedVista. There's no white label and no exclusivity.
